Job Description:
Azure Network and Security Architect
This role focuses on architecting secure, scalable, and high-performance network and security solutions for modern data platforms built on Azure. The architect will ensure secure data access, governance, and monitoring across services like Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Unity Catalog, and Azure Monitor, supporting enterprise-grade analytics and data engineering workloads.
Network Architecture & Integration:
- Design and implement secure VNet architectures for Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, and Web Application including private endpoints, service endpoints, service principals, managed identity, and firewall rules
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and Azure AD integration for Databricks and ADLS Gen2.
- Design and enforce data governance policies using Unity Catalog, including fine-grained access control and audit logging, synchronized with Azure IAM.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of Azure networking (VNet, NSG, UDR), security (Key Vault, Defender), and monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Unity Catalog, and Delta Lake.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
