Job Details

Our client, a leading university, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on IT support to staff, faculty, and students. This role requires experience supporting both Mac and Windows systems in a fast-paced academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot macOS and Windows workstations.
  • Assist with user account setup, access management, and system updates.
  • Support classroom and office technology, including AV equipment and printers.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of technical support experience, preferably in an educational or enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide professional, customer-focused service to a diverse user base.

Compensation: $20-24/hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
