RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Apex Developer.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Apex Developer with a strong background in building and maintaining applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX & ORDS). The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in Apex development, and prior experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is highly desirable. You will collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that integrate with enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:
* Apex Developer will design, develop, and deploy applications using Oracle APEX (v19 or higher)
* Create and enhance custom modules or dashboards integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite
* Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, and APIs for data access and business logic
* Work closely with EBS technical/functional teams to understand data models and integration points
* Support and enhance existing Apex applications, ensuring high availability and performance
* Perform unit testing, code reviews, and document all technical designs
* As a Apex Developer, you will participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery schedules
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Apex or related Oracle environments
* Ensure all applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development
* Experience in Apex security models, session state, and user authentication mechanisms
* Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
* Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (18c or higher)
* Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite architecture, especially with custom development and integrations
* Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP web services
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities
* Ability to understand and work with EBS tables, APIs, and concurrent programs
* Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Preferred Skills:
* Experience integrating APEX with EBS modules such as Finance, SCM, CRM
* Exposure to EBS personalization, custom forms, or workflows
* Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher or Forms & Reports
* Familiarity with DevOps tools, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD processes
* Experience with cloud migration or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) nice to have
* Prior experience in Angular, Spring Boot, Oracle ADF nice to have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
