Contract: Until 06/09/2026
Location: 2039 W Lewis Ave Phoenix AZ 85009
Tentative Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM (40 Hours/Week).

Position Description:
The Arizona Department of Transportation is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in Phoenix, AZ, with an emphasis on Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, SCCM computer imaging and software deployment, Tanium software deployments, system automation, TCP/IP design, group policies and scripting, and leading IT projects experience to support its Desktop Management team. The Desktop Management team values contributors who are passionate about customer service excellence, efficiency, creativity, and a big picture view of how to solve problems.

Work Experience Required:
Bachelor (4 year) degree, in a technical field, such as engineering or computer science OR equivalent work experience.

- TCP/IP design and troubleshooting skills in a large, multi-subnet environment
- Group policies
- Active Directory
- Technical documentation

- ITIL framework experience
Preferred certifications: MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, VCIX, AWS-CSA Professional, CompTIA Cloud+
Education/Training Required
