Job Description

Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Required Skills & Experience:
Expert-level proficiency in IBM Sterling File Gateway and IBM Transformation Extender Advanced (ITXA)
Strong Linux performance tuning and optimization experience
Expertise in SFTP file transfer protocols and Business Process Markup Language (BPML)
Advanced understanding of CI/CD concepts, orchestration, and automation frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible)
Proven experience in performance testing, profiling, and troubleshooting in complex enterprise environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Overview:
The resource will be responsible for performing detailed performance analysis and optimization of the EDIOS IBM applications - including IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and IBM Transformation Extender Advanced (ITXA)
Deliverables will include performance tuning recommendations, implementation of enhancements, and development of improved automation processes for application operations and deployments

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive performance analysis of IBM Sterling File Gateway and IBM Transformation Extender Advanced environments
Provide performance tuning recommendations and implement optimizations to improve efficiency, scalability, and throughput
Design and develop a more streamlined and efficient SFTP pull process within IBM Sterling File Gateway
Develop an automated code deployment solution for IBM Transformation Extender Advanced to support CI/CD principles
Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure optimal application performance and reliability
Document all tuning, enhancement, and deployment procedures
