RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java Developer in Hopkins, MN. The role is a high touch position with a notable amount of collaboration across product teams and stakeholders to define requirements and understand how they fit into the end objective.
Essential Functions:
* Participate in the technical design of application systems
* Develop and implement application systems by participating through the software development lifecycle from inception to delivery and beyond
* Design and write complex code in several languages relevant to our existing product stack, with a focus on automation
* Configure, tune, maintain and install applications systems and validates system functionality
* Install new software releases and application system upgrades; Evaluate and install software patches
* Monitor and fine tune applications system to achieve optimum performance levels and works with hardware teams to resolve issues with hardware and software
* Assist with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors, and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot
* Address product backlog and provide continuous delivery of high-quality features
* Maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation to ensure data integrity
* Act to improve the overall reliability of systems and to increase efficiency
* Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, using Agile/DevOps principles to bring products to life, achieve business objectives and serve customer needs
* Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot APIs to support modernization initiatives
* Collaborate closely with business users and product team leads to deliver solutions for: Shield integration; Cassandra database migration
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
* Hands-on experience with Test automation frameworks
* Hands-on experience with Vulnerability management tools and practices
* Technical expertise required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
