Job Title: Industrial Automation Engineer
Duration: Full Time/Direct Hire/W2 only
Location: Maxton, North Carolina - Relocation Benefits available if qualified (Onsite 5 days/week)
Required Pay Scale: $90,000-$130,000
Job Summary: We are hiring an experienced Automation Engineer for a brand new role within our industrial facility. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automation processes using robots, auto spraying systems, and automated conveyor belts. They should have a bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering (or a related field), at least 3 years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of manufacturing industries.

Project Details:
- Lead the design and implementation of automation processes for material handling, part cleaning, and painting in a heavily industrialized, 108K sq ft facility.
- Oversee equipment selection, installation, and programming needs of machines, ensuring long-term adaptability and continuous improvement.
- Work independently, collaborating with leadership and colleagues to meet evolving needs and drive efficiency in a challenging environment.
- Provide coaching and support to maintenance engineers, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of automated systems.
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience designing automation systems, overseeing installation, and maintaining the systems.
- Strong hands-on experience working on the shop floor in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing industries, including familiarity with heat, hydraulics, and challenging working conditions.
