Tableau Developer (Only W2)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for data visualization improvements.

Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability.

Work closely with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure data quality and consistency.

Implement row-level security and user permissions in Tableau.

Participate in data modeling, ETL design, and integration efforts as needed.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Tableau developers.

Support ad-hoc reporting and data visualization requests from business stakeholders.

Stay current with new Tableau features and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

6+ years of hands-on experience in Tableau development.

Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.

Experience in performance tuning of Tableau workbooks and dashboards.

Solid understanding of Tableau Server architecture, publishing, and scheduling.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Looker, or Qlik is a plus.

Knowledge of Python or R for data processing/analytics.

Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
