Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with quality assurance policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Apply Six Sigma methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure ITAR compliance across all business operations.
- Monitor and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and other departments to design and execute quality assurance strategies.
- Handle customer complaints regarding quality and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Evaluate the quality of raw materials like alloys, copper, brass, nickel, titanium, aluminum, and steel, and ensure they meet our standards.
- Supervise heat treatment processes to ensure they are carried out correctly and efficiently.
- Provide technical advice and support to the sales team, helping them to understand product specifications and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role
- Thorough knowledge of ITAR compliance is essential.
- Proven experience working with different metals.
- Strong understanding of heat treatment processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficient in using quality assurance software and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and guide a team.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
