Systems Engineer F-35 Maintenance Data Specialist Asc
Location: Marietta GA
What You Will Be Doing
Join the cutting-edge world of F-35 sustainment as part of Lockheed Martin's Maintenance Data Adjudication team. In this impactful role, you will support one of the most advanced aircraft programs in the world by turning complex maintenance data into meaningful insights. Your work will directly contribute to improving the reliability, readiness, and overall performance of the F-35 air vehicle fleet.
This position is based in Marietta, GA, with regular collaboration across locations, particularly with team members in Fort Worth, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjudicate and enrich F-35 maintenance data by applying established guidelines to cleanse, categorize, and add contextual details that enhance data clarity and usability.
- Analyze large datasets to identify performance trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement across the F-35 air vehicle fleet.
- Support root cause investigations in collaboration with the Reliability & Maintainability Engineering team to determine causes of system/component issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and validate automation scripts for repetitive adjudication processes, improving efficiency and scalability as the fleet grows.
- Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams including engineers and program stakeholders across multiple sites, primarily in Marietta, GA and Fort Worth, TX.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders, including the F-35 Joint Program Office, to understand specific data needs and tailor data outputs to support readiness and sustainment strategies.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance the adjudication workflow and overall data quality.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 4 years experience in absence of Bachelors Degree
Experience with F-35 aircraft maintenance, and maintenance data documentation.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Desired skills
Effective communication skills and ability to present technical information to a broad set of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to pick up new IT tools quickly.
Ability to perform detailed-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy and quick delivery.
Knowledge and experience with aircraft maintainers and aircraft maintenance procedures.
Knowledge and experience with aircraft maintenance documentation.
Experience managing and manipulating large data set using software applications (such as Excel, Access, and other specialized software applications).
Basic understanding of technical data, technical orders and or F-35 Joint Technical Data.
Familiarity with U.S. Air Force, USMC or U.S. Navy maintenance organizational structures and sortie generation operations.
Basic understanding of Diagnostics, Prognostics, and Health Management.
