Description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Technician in De Pere, WI. This role will assist in transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11, focusing on patch management and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

  • Patch Management: Analyze lists of missing Windows 10 & 11 or third-party application patches, apply patches to target systems via MECM or manually, and validate vulnerability mitigation using Rapid7.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows and third-party application patches not applying.
  • Vulnerability Integration: Integrate vulnerability scan data from Rapid7 into patch planning and remediation strategies.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track patch compliance, providing visibility to IT leadership and auditors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Technically troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft Windows and third-party application patches.
  • Integrate vulnerability scan data from Rapid7 into patch planning and remediation strategies.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track patch compliance and provide visibility to IT leadership and auditors.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of Windows 10 & 11 administration experience; expert-level skill set.
  • Patch Management: 3+ years of experience in patch management.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to track patch remediation through resolution, manage multiple tickets simultaneously, and update tracking methods.
  • Attention to Detail: Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and experience working directly with end users.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
