POSITION OVERVIEW : SAP Integration Lead POSITION OVERVIEW : SAP Integration Lead POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : SAP Integration Lead
Position Summary:
Experienced SAP Integration Lead with deep expertise in designing and delivering robust, scalable, and compliant integration solutions within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Strong technical leadership in SAP integration technologies (CPI, PI/PO, IDoc, APIs), coupled with a solid understanding of GxP, CFR 21 Part 11, and other regulatory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA and external systems including Jaggaer, Fusion, Hyperion, Bank, Lockbox, LIMS, and 3rd-party logistics providers (ICS).
Own the integration architecture and ensures it aligns with pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance frameworks.
Collaborate with business analysts, quality assurance teams, and regulatory stakeholders to capture integration requirements that comply with validation and data integrity standards.
Develop and maintain interfaces using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP PI/PO, IDocs, BAPIs, REST/SOAP APIs, and OData services.
Oversee documentation of integration designs, validation protocols, technical specifications, and qualification reports for audit readiness.
Ensure all integrations are validated, tested, and deployed in accordance with CSV (Computer System Validation) practices.
Support incident resolution, change management, and performance tuning of integration interfaces.
Provide leadership and mentorship to integration developers and manage third-party vendors when necessary.
Contribute to IT change control processes, risk assessments, and system audits in alignment with CFR 21 Part 11 and GAMP 5 guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
8+ years of experience in SAP integration roles, with at least 3 years in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Hands-on experience with SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, IDoc/ALE, RFC, BAPI, Proxy, and API-based integration.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly in modules relevant to pharma (MM, PP, QM, SD, WM, EWM).
Deep understanding of GxP, GMP, and CFR 21 Part 11 compliance, including audit trails, e-signatures, and data integrity.
Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Certifications:
SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Integration Suite / CPI
GAMP 5 or CSV training/certification (Optional)
PMP or Agile certification (optional)
