Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with strong experience in Linux systems, scripting, and infrastructure engineering. The successful candidate will play a critical role in OS builds, server support, database migrations, and security patching across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deliver systems on Oracle Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu platforms
- Support server, storage, and database migration activities
- Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions for major incidents
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, and Perl
- Ensure timely OS security patching and compliance validation
- Document and implement changes to standard system build procedures
- Deploy and maintain back-tier infrastructure aligned with engineering standards
- Ensure all infrastructure solutions adhere to IT standards and best practices
- Contribute to infrastructure initiatives focused on improving transparency and resiliency
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in system administration
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python (7+ years)
- Proficient in Shell and Perl scripting
- In-depth knowledge of Linux OS (Oracle Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu)
- Experience with OS patching, validation, and compliance practices
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and change management skills
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
