Job Responsibilities:
- Test programs and databases to identify errors, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary modifications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems, or oversee and coordinate changes with programmers and analysts to meet evolving business needs.
- Develop and write logical and physical database descriptions, including specifying identifiers and configurations within management systems, and guide others in coding database descriptions according to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure database integrity, security, and efficiency.
- Assist in implementing database security measures and best practices to safeguard organizational data.
Required Skillset:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Basic knowledge of database management software and SQL.
Education/Experience:
- An associate's degree in computer programming, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
- Prior experience or familiarity with database management systems is preferred but not required.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
