Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Services Developer V with deep expertise in Clear2Pay. The ideal candidate will have direct experience building, customizing, or maintaining Clear2Pay prior to and following its acquisition by FIS in 2014. This role will be critical in supporting current Clear2Pay implementations while contributing to the long-term replacement strategy. Alongside Clear2Pay expertise, strong Java development and architecture skills are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in migrating and maintaining Clear2Pay systems.
- Define system objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning features and functionality.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/Java EE applications, including internet/intranet interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development and production issues across multiple environments.
- Determine design methodologies, toolsets, and programming solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure long-term platform stability while supporting near-term business needs.
- Document processes, architecture, and user assistance materials.
Required Skills
- Direct experience with Clear2Pay (architecture, deployment, and code).
- Hands-on experience migrating and writing Clear2Pay solutions.
- Strong background in Java and Java EE platforms.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design and common design patterns.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience with the Spring Framework.
- Web application development experience with one or more frameworks (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
