Role: Salesforce Field Service Solution Architect
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (5 days onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Field Service Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of complex Salesforce Field Service implementations. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong solution architecture skills, and the ability to facilitate client workshops, create proof-of-concepts, and ensure end-to-end quality in enterprise-level deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Discovery
Facilitate discovery workshops with clients to gather requirements, understand personas, and elicit detailed user stories.
Assess existing client architecture and design scalable Salesforce Field Service solutions that meet business needs.
Present solution designs to clients and internal teams, articulating value and securing stakeholder buy-in.
Solution Design & Development
Create technical solution designs with clear documentation and user story definitions.
Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and demos to illustrate proposed solutions and gather client feedback.
Recommend Salesforce best practices, integration approaches, and process improvements.
Lead configuration and customization efforts using Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Flow, and other Salesforce automation tools.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, ensuring development standards are met.
Participate in design and code reviews, assess alternative approaches, and analyze impacts.
Oversee DevOps governance, deployment planning, and release management.
Coordinate unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Integration & Documentation
Integrate Salesforce with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and industry-standard frameworks.
Create technical specifications and build plans, delegating tasks to team members.
Document architecture, configurations, and workflows for long-term maintainability.
Required Qualifications
5+ years as a consultant leading external, client-facing technical consulting for complex systems.
3+ years developing custom Salesforce applications.
2+ years hands-on Salesforce Field Service experience.
Proven success with Agile software development methodologies throughout full project lifecycles.
Strong Salesforce development skills including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Flow, and advanced automation.
Deep familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Experience deploying enterprise applications via REST, APIs, SQL, JavaScript, HTML.
Solid understanding of testing, release processes, and DevOps governance.
