Role Summary:
Provide end-to-end leadership for Model N Flex programs within the Pharma Access landscape (ASPIRE S4 HANA Upgrade, Flex Cloud Migration, GP 7.10 Upgrade). The Project Lead ensures delivery excellence, compliance, and operational stability across Commercial, Medicaid, and Government Pricing processes integrated with SAP S/4 HANA and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Own planning deployment lifecycle for Model N Flex initiatives, including system upgrades, cloud modernization, and SAP integrations.
• Define and manage release scope, deliverables, risk / RAID logs, test governance, and hyper-care transition.
• Oversee QA and Dev teams through sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile).
• Lead validation of core business workflows Chargebacks, Rebates, Government Pricing, Medicaid.
• Review and approve Test Plans, Traceability Matrices, Release Notes per Genentech validation standards.
• Facilitate defect triage / root-cause analysis meetings with Scrum and Product teams to ensure closure before release.
• Ensure GxP and SOX compliance; maintain audit-ready documentation in Confluence and ServiceNow.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and mentor Scrum teams on best practices and automation adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 + years overall IT experience with 6 + years in Model N Flex program delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of Model N modules (GP, RM, DRM, MDM, Validata).
• Proven leadership of SAP R3 S/4 HANA upgrades and AWS Cloud migrations.
• Expertise in SDLC, Agile, and Validation Lifecycle Management.
• Strong SQL / PLSQL and Oracle background for data validation and issue triage.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Model N Flex Senior Developer SFO, USA

Role Summary:

Design and build scalable solutions for Model N Flex applications supporting Market Access processes (Chargebacks, Rebates, Medicaid GP). The developer translates business requirements into technical design, ensuring robust integration across SAP and AWS cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom components in Model N Flex (GP 7.10, RM, DRM modules).
• Build complex SQL/PLSQL scripts, stored procedures, and data pipelines for pricing and rebate workflows.
• Design interfaces between Model N and SAP S/4 HANA using REST APIs and ETL frameworks.
• Troubleshoot application issues, optimize queries, and conduct performance tuning in Oracle / AWS.
• Create technical documentation Functional Designs, Tech Designs, Build Docs, Release Notes.
• Support UAT, production deployments, and hyper-care activities in coordination with QA teams.
• Adhere to IT governance for code promotion, change control, and release compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 + years of development experience (5 + in Model N Flex or Model N Revenue Cloud).
• Strong SQL, PLSQL, Unix scripting, and REST API skills.
• Expertise in Model N data model and integration with SAP R3 / S4 / AWS.
• Working knowledge of Cognos, UiPath, and data migration best practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) and Agile development frameworks.
• Strong debugging and documentation skills with a focus on traceability and audit readiness.
