Position: Senior Business Analyst
Duration: 12 - Months Approx-
location : Austin, TX 78701 (Hybrid up to 80% remote
Renewal : Up to three- years
Position Overview:
- The Senior Business Analyst will join the Texas Education Agency s efforts in advancing educational outcomes across Texas. This role focuses on supporting multiple initiatives including post-secondary outcomes public dashboards and 1st 3rd grade supplemental grants projects. The BA will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software and product solutions meet business and user needs, while adhering to UX best practices and agency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced business analysis and user experience design for TEA technology solutions.
- Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements via stakeholder interviews.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Create and maintain user stories, use cases, workflows, mockups, and wireframes.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and product demonstrations.
- Analyze, re-engineer, and improve business processes to optimize solution delivery.
- Verify implementation of requirements and manage post-deployment enhancement requests.
- Ensure alignment with TEA s mission and goals in all project deliverables.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
