Job Description Senior Training & Clinical Validator
Summary
The Senior Training & Clinical Validator will play a critical role in ensuring smooth adoption of new and consolidated imaging, cardiology, and ancillary systems during the PACS migration initiative. This role involves validating clinical workflows, training clinical users, and supporting testing and go-live readiness, ensuring alignment between technical implementation and clinical needs across all impacted sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical validation efforts for PACS, cardiology, hemodynamics, and ancillary systems during migration and consolidation phases.
- Collaborate with application engineers, integration teams, and clinical stakeholders to validate workflows, configurations, and interfaces prior to cutover.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored for clinical end-users, super users, and support staff across multi-site environments.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and parallel testing activities, ensuring workflows meet clinical requirements.
- Document and communicate workflow changes, process adjustments, and known issues during migration to clinical and technical teams.
- Provide go-live support and hypercare assistance, including at-the-elbow support, troubleshooting, and issue escalation.
- Serve as a clinical liaison, bridging communication between IT, vendors, and clinical departments during project execution.
- Contribute to training content development, including manuals, quick reference guides, and e-learning modules.
- Provide input for change management activities and adoption strategies.
- Mentor junior trainers and validators, ensuring best practices and consistency across training and validation efforts.
Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of experience in clinical informatics, imaging workflows, or healthcare IT training.
- In-depth knowledge of PACS, RIS, cardiology, hemodynamics, and related clinical systems.
- Hands-on experience in workflow validation and clinical support during large-scale migrations or system upgrades.
- Strong instructional design skills for both classroom and virtual training delivery.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills for engaging clinical teams.
- Familiarity with change management principles and effective strategies for user adoption.
- Proficiency in documenting workflows and preparing training material for multi-disciplinary clinical audiences.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, and clinical compliance standards.
- Preferred certifications: CPHIMS, PMP, or relevant clinical training certifications.
