Your role in our mission

  • Manages externally prepared income tax provisions and compliance.
  • Coordinates and manages tax audits, inquiries and notices from tax authorities.
  • Maintains documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions and other tax-related activities.
  • Collaborates with other departments and teams, such as finance, legal and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination on tax matters.
  • Provides guidance and support to internal stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Stays updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively identify potential risks or opportunities for the organization.
  • Fosters a culture of tax compliance and awareness throughout the organization, providing training and support as needed.
  • Oversees the compilation, analysis and reporting of tax accounting data such as earnings, profits, cash balances, and other financial results to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards accuracy.
  • Verifies general ledger accounts are reconciled monthly to meet business needs. Ensures accounts are accurate and up to date.
  • Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
  • Assists in preparing operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.


What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five or more years of tax accounting experience (ASC 740) preferably in a public accounting environment
  • Three or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Big four experience is preferable.
  • Onesource, SAP and Checkpoint experience preferred
  • CPA/JD Required

The pay range for this position is $88,900.00 - $127,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
