Job Description & Skill Requirement:
This position is for a Project Master Scheduler - Facilities & Technologies role to join a growing aerospace team with L&T Technology Services (LTTS). As an important part of the Engineering team here at LTTS, you will actively be providing critical value to our customers by performing project engineering tasks to coordinate and drive results of critical aerospace projects.
This role will work with the LTTS team, as well as our major aerospace customer, to support the planning and execution of complex facilities and technology projects within the aerospace sector. The Master Scheduler will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining project schedules across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with program objectives, resource availability, and contractual requirements. This role is critical in driving project visibility, enabling proactive risk management, and supporting leadership decision-making.
This is considered an onsite position, meaning this role will require working onsite at our customers location.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for multiple facilities and technology projects.
Coordinate inputs from engineering, operations, construction, IT, supply chain, and external contractors to ensure accurate schedule integration.
Establish schedule baselines and maintain version control in accordance with project and program controls standards.
Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float, resource leveling, and "what-if" scenarios to support program planning and risk mitigation.
Monitor schedule progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to project managers and leadership.
Prepare and deliver schedule status reports, dashboards, and briefings to program leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, government reporting requirements (e.g., Earned Value Management), and company policies.
Support proposal development and new project planning by creating preliminary schedules and resource forecasts.
Collaborate closely with finance and project controls to align schedules with budgets, costs, and performance metrics.
Escalate project barriers and risks as needed
Own and maintain all project documentation
Coordinate with suppliers as needed
Follow all required standards of work, and adhere to all compliance and regulation requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ year(s) of relevant experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Project scheduling software
Strong understanding of critical path methodology (CPM), earned value management (EVM), and schedule risk analysis.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex data.
Strong communication skills with ability to interact effectively across disciplines and organizational levels
Direct experience with project management in an engineering environment
Ability to proactively take action to drive on-time results
Outstanding communication and technical writing skills
Excellent customer service skills
