IT Project Manager

Position Description
We are seeking an IT Project Manager experienced within a PMO environment to join our CGI team in Sacramento, CA. You would be joining an eight member PMO team providing Project Management Support Services to our long-standing strategic government client.

This position is located in our Sacramento, CA office with work performed at the "client site in West Sacramento, CA"; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be at the client site 2 to 3 days per week.

Our seasoned team has mature processes and tools, but with focus on developing innovative agile processes and tools for project teams conducting multiple simultaneous system maintenance projects in a dynamic and multi-vendor environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities
How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities include engagement in all Project Management processes in either a supporting, controlling, or directing role, depending on the process.

There are typically over 100 projects in progress at any one time.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
What you'll bring
Minimum five years of experience applying extensive Project Management (PM) principles, methods, techniques, and tools
o Three years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity as a PM of one or more large complex IT project(s)
Three years of experience in providing project management office (PMO) support services to a Government Agency
PMI PMP Certification
CSM Certification

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Member must be a team-player but be able to work independently; able to be client-facing.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $133,500."
