Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is immediately seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support cross-functional teams in the delivery of high-impact IT and business initiatives. The ideal candidate brings 4-5+ years of experience working in enterprise environments, with a strong command of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), but also the flexibility to operate in hybrid environments where Waterfall elements are present. This role is highly collaborative, requiring strong facilitation skills and the ability to act as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
* Act as a servant leader to development teams, removing impediments and enabling delivery success
* Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and priorities
* Support teams in adhering to Agile best practices while adapting to organizational constraints (e.g., Waterfall dependencies)
* Track and communicate team progress through metrics, burndown charts, and regular reporting
* Coordinate with project managers and other delivery leads to manage cross-team dependencies
* Serve as a bridge between IT and business functions, translating technical language into business context and vice versa
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high accountability within the team
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-5+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting software development teams within enterprise environments
* Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban; experience working in hybrid models that include Waterfall components
* Proven ability to lead standups and Agile ceremonies with geographically distributed or cross-functional teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences
* Proficient in Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity
Preferred Skills:
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar Agile certification
* Experience supporting both IT infrastructure and application development projects
* Familiarity with traditional project management tools and concepts (Gantt charts, RAID logs, etc.)
