Among its proprietary offerings is a cutting-edge FinTech platform designed to assist financial advisors in portfolio construction and risk analysis. Currently provided exclusively to affiliated advisors, the platform has garnered external interest for potential licensing and white-labeling-positioning this role at the forefront of a strategic product expansion.
Position Overview
The firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the continued development and enhancement of its flagship software solution. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this individual will serve as the primary product owner, responsible for translating business objectives into technical execution, managing outsourced development resources, and driving the product roadmap forward.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of the firm's proprietary portfolio design and risk analysis platform, including roadmap planning, feature development, and release management.
- Translate strategic business goals and advisor feedback into detailed product requirements, wireframes, and user stories.
- Act as the central liaison between internal stakeholders and external development teams.
- Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Lead quality assurance efforts, identify and resolve bugs, and continuously refine UX/UI in collaboration with engineering.
- Facilitate agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Leverage data and user insights to inform product iterations and enhancements.
- Explore opportunities for platform licensing, white-labeling, and broader market adoption.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of product management experience, ideally within FinTech or financial services.
- Demonstrated success in leading custom application development from concept to launch.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby); while not a developer role, technical fluency is essential.
- Strong understanding of API integrations, data architecture, and agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage outsourced development teams and technical roadmaps.
- Exceptional communication skills, including technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Financial acumen and familiarity with advisor workflows and portfolio construction.
Preferred Experience
- Background in RIA, asset management, or compliance-driven environments.
- Experience with risk analysis, financial modeling, or proposal generation tools.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Teamwork.com and HubSpot.
Work Environment
