Job Details

Vertex IT Systems is seeking an experienced Lead Angular Developer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale, high-performance web applications built with Angular. You will play a key role in defining frontend architecture, guiding the development team, and delivering scalable portal applications with modern Angular best practices.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Angular and its ecosystem, hands-on experience with advanced frontend architectures, and the ability to mentor developers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications using Angular (latest versions).

  • Define and implement frontend architecture including Server-Side Rendering (SSR / Angular Universal), Micro Frontends, and Mono Repo setups (Nx or similar).

  • Drive state management using NgRx and reactive programming with RxJS.

  • Ensure high-quality, production-ready code that meets design specifications and business requirements.

  • Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features and user experiences.

  • Guide and mentor team members through code reviews, technical feedback, and best practices.

  • Ensure applications are well-documented, unit tested, and regression-free.

  • Implement responsive and mobile-first designs.

  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Participate in and contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Work closely with stakeholders and project managers to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.

Skills & Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 7+ years of frontend/web development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Angular.

  • Advanced experience with:

    • Angular (latest versions)

    • NgRx (Store, Effects, Entity)

    • RxJS

    • TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

    • SSR (Angular Universal)

    • Micro Frontends

    • Mono Repositories (Nx or similar)

  • Experience working with RESTful and GraphQL-based APIs.

  • Familiarity with modern frontend ecosystems (Angular preferred; React/Vue exposure is a plus).

  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.

  • Exposure to AWS, Apollo, or cloud-based environments is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and modern web best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and leadership skills.
