Senior Solution Architect (Martech/CMS Focus)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client (located in Salt Lake City, UT) is investing heavily in modern digital products and is hiring a hands-on Senior Solution Architect with strong MarTech, CMS, and full-stack engineering expertise. The Senior Solution Architect will architect and build cloud-native systems that power the full customer lifecycle-from attracting, to acquiring, to retaining customers-supporting the client's strategic goal of significant customer growth. This role is not for someone who has moved into high-level leadership.

Responsibilities:
* Own architecture and delivery across digital account opening, marketing technology, content management, and customer onboarding initiatives
* Architecting cloud-native, scalable, safe, and high-quality solutions
* Designing and supporting integrations across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Ads, CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Optimizely), and internal systems
* Working closely with the Product Owner and engineering teams to drive delivery
* Building foundational technology patterns, reusable components, APIs, and GraphQL/REST services
* Participating in architecture review boards and risk assessments (the client is highly risk-aware)
* Coaching teams on cloud-native development, DevSecOps, SSDLC, test practices, and engineering excellence
* Contributing as a Technology Foundation Product Owner in Agile/Kanban environments
* Supporting documentation, solution diagrams, and architectural decision records
* Ensuring solutions reduce long-term cost of ownership and align with compliance and security expectations

Technologies You'll Work With
* MarTech: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (current), evaluating Adobe EM, Optimizely, Google Ads
* Engineering: Angular, Spring, GraphQL, REST, cloud-native architectures
* Processes: Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps, SSDLC
* Domains: Digital account opening, KYC/KYB, identity verification, CMS, web analytics

REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of experience designing and building full-stack or mobile applications on high-performing engineering teams
* 5+ years architecting or influencing cloud-ready/cloud-native solutions
* 2+ years of experience with Martech, digital acquisition, or public-facing web systems
* Strong experience with modern Java/Spring, Angular, GraphQL, REST APIs, microservices, or similar technologies
* Experience with CMS platforms or MarTech ecosystems (SFMC preferred)
* Ability to produce architectural documentation (TOGAF, BPMN, UML, etc.)
* Excellent communication skills; able to present to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable in a risk-averse, compliance-focused environment
* Highly collaborative; strong communicator
* Entrepreneurial mindset while working within a structured financial environment
* Hands-on architect who enjoys building-not just leading

Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IS, or similar (Master's a plus)
* Certifications such as SAFe, CSM, CKA, CI/CD, Java, etc.
* Experience with SOC 2 Type II or similar compliance frameworks
* Experience with Design-Driven Development (DDD)
* Background in financial services or regulated industries (nice to have, but MarTech-first is preferred)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
