Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Development Activities:

  • Design and develop SAP PIPO 7.5 and SAP CPI Integration Suite solutions to enable secure EDI communication.

  • Implement Trading Partner Management (TPM) for seamless B2B integrations.

  • Develop and optimize mappings using Graphical Mapping, XSLT, Java Mapping, and Message Mapping within both PIPO and CPI environments.

  • Configure SSL transport-level security and message-level encryption/decryption for secure data exchange.

  • Utilize Cloud Integration capabilities in PIPO/CPI for AS2, REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, and FTPS/SFTP connectivity.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration, migration, and security configurations.


Migration Activities:

  • Assess and plan migration strategies from PIPO to CPI, ensuring minimal business disruption.

  • Redesign legacy PIPO scenarios using SAP CPI adapters and API Management tools.

  • Transition synchronoasynchronous message processing into a cloud-native CPI architecture.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance and security across PIPO and CPI environments.

  • Implement best practices for cloud-based B2B trading partner integrations.


Testing Activities:

  • Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing across SAP PIPO and CPI environments.

  • Validate encryption, decryption, and SSL security configurations to ensure data integrity.

  • Perform end-to-end functional testing of integration scenarios.

  • Coordinate with business users for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful deployment of migrated interfaces.

  • Ensure compatibility of CPI transactions with trading partners and SAP systems.


Monitoring and Support Activities:

  • Monitor SAP PIPO and CPI integrations to optimize performance and reliability.

  • Perform regular security audits and health checks for all integration components.

  • Provide proactive operational support for secure EDI transactions.

  • Troubleshoot communication and transport-level issues post-migration.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance cloud integration processes.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PIPO 7.5 and SAP CPI Integration Suite.

  • Strong expertise in EDI B2B Trading Partner Management (TPM) and IBM WebSphere DataPower Appliance.

  • Proficient in IDoc, RFC, HTTP, REST, SOAP, AS2, FTP/SFTP, and API-based integrations.

  • Solid understanding of message-level encryption/decryption and SSL transport-level security.

  • Deep knowledge of cloud integration principles and architecture in SAP CPI.

  • Proficiency in XSLT, Java Mapping, and Cloud-based message transformations.

  • Familiarity with EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON.

  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
