Senior Golang Developer / Hybrid Downtown ATL

A fast-growing fintech startup in Downtown Atlanta is building secure, scalable, data-driven infrastructure for the next generation of investment platforms. We're looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join our team and help shape the core backend systems powering our product.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working on clean APIs, scalable systems, and solving complex technical challenges in the cloud.
What You'll Do

• Design and develop backend services and microservices using Go
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure (Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, and design
• Own features end-to-end-from architecture to deployment
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior developers

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with 2+ years in Go
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL (data modeling, indexing, query tuning)
• Experience with AWS cloud services and distributed systems
• Skilled in designing and maintaining RESTful or gRPC APIs
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development environments
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code

Nice to Have

• Background in fintech or financial data platforms
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.)
• Knowledge of Terraform or infrastructure-as-code best practices
