Information Security Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $60.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Information Security Engineer

Job Title: Information Security Analyst

Location: 100% Remote - Base location- San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12 months

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of five years in Information Security Engineering, or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, military service, or formal education.
• At least five years of experience in mainframe security risk assessment and remediation.
• Proficiency in Resource Access Control Facility (RACF), with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience, particularly with versions z/OS 2.1 or later.
• Five years of experience in mainframe security, utilizing native z/OS and RACF tools.
• Five years of experience in issuing RACF commands and conducting diagnostic procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years of experience with Job Control Language (JCL).
• Five years of experience with Time Sharing Options (TSO).
• Proficiency in REXX and CARLa scripting languages.
• Experience with the zSecure suite of security tools.
• Advanced technical skills in Information Security, with a thorough understanding of security practices and policies.
• Proven ability to manage complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
