Job Description
We re hunting for a sales pro who can blend business savvy, technical know-how, and relationship magic to drive new client wins. You ll carry simpleroute s reputation built over 15 years into every pitch, turning prospects into partners. MSP experience is a big plus; this gig demands someone who gets the industry and can strategize, negotiate, and close like a champ.
 
Expect a hybrid gig: in-office to start, shifting to 2 days home, 3 days in (or 20% prospect visits). Base salary $80k-$110k, plus commission total comp can hit $100k-$170k+ if you re crushing it. We re after someone who thrives on data (think HubSpot, not cold-call spam) and builds trust over transactions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Client Hunt: Find and nurture new clients, digging into their IT needs and showing how Simpleroute fits.
  • Pitch Perfect: Explain our MSP services fully managed ($130-$150/head) or co-managed ($70-$80/head) in ways that click for prospects.
  • Custom Fixes: Team up with clients to tailor solutions technical, budget-friendly, and spot-on.
  • Proposals: Craft sharp quotes and pitches, breaking down the tech so it s clear and compelling.
  • Market Watch: Keep tabs on trends, competitors, and tech shifts to spot opportunities.
  • Team Play: Sync with ops and support crews for seamless handoffs sales ends, service shines.
  • Growth Goals: Hit sales targets by chasing new biz and expanding our reach.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in technical sales (MSP experience strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on IT knowledge software, networking, VoIP, the works.
  • Data-driven sales chops (e.g., HubSpot mastery a big plus).
  • Killer communication verbal, written, and client-facing.
  • Analytical edge spot needs, solve fast, close smart.
  • Bachelor s in sales, tech, or related field (or equivalent grit).
