Junior Software Developer
 
Location: Woodbury, MN (On-site)
 Employment Type: Full-time
Our client is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join their team. This role is ideal for entry to mid-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. You'll contribute to both new development projects and the maintenance of existing applications, working closely with team members across the company to support business growth and technological advancement.
This position pays between $65,000-75,000. Candidates must be local to the Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN metropolitan area and must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Build custom software solutions and integrate them with existing systems.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Support and improve current applications through debugging and issue resolution.
- Problem Solving: Research and resolve technical challenges effectively.
- Best Practices & Documentation: Help define coding standards and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Provide support to colleagues on assigned technical tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with backend development and web applications.
- Proficiency in C# and secure, modern web application design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication & Adaptability:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to mobile application development.
