As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the CTO, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in Java or Python, with the ability to build code from scratch. Assist in the design, development, and troubleshooting of software solutions, focusing on building scalable AI agentic frameworks.
- Strong experience with React or Angular. Develop secure, high-quality production code and participate in code reviews to ensure the implementation of scalable AI solutions.
- Experience with Generative AI use cases preferred. Contribute to POCs to evaluate new AI technologies and methodologies, aligning them with business goals and technical requirements.
- AWS experience is a must-have. Support the adoption of best practices in software development and AI integration, maintaining quality, security, and efficiency across AI projects.
- Experience with model tools and agentic tools. Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance the operational stability of AI applications and systems.
- Collaborate with teams to evaluate architectural designs and technical credentials for AI systems.
- Participate in communities of practice to promote awareness and use of new AI technologies.
- Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect, fostering an innovative AI development environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3 years of applied experience, particularly in AI development.
- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in AI projects.
- Strong proficiency in Java or Python, with the ability to build code from scratch.
- Strong experience with React or Angular.
- Experience with Generative AI use cases preferred.
- AWS experience is a must-have.
- Experience with model tools and agentic tools.
- Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security, applied to AI projects.
- Basic understanding of machine learning principles, especially in natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working at code level, particularly in AI frameworks.
- Interest in modern development trends and emerging AI technologies such as AI and Machine Learning.
