Job Description:
Design and release power conversion systems for Client advanced power products.
Meet cost, quality, and performance targets.
Collaborate with suppliers to develop and/or select products for use within the power conversion product line.
Develop test plans, validation procedures, and documentation to ensure functional and performance compliance, taking full ownership of the assigned task.
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure smooth transition from design to validation and production.
Support compliance and functional safety review of power conversion product

Work environment: Office/lab environment

Education & Experience Required:
BS degree in electrical engineering.
8+ years of relevant industry experience or 5+ years experience with advanced degree

Required Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with converter/inverter prototyping, test benches, and debugging.
Strong understanding of DC-DC converters, AC-DC inverters, magnetics, and control algorithms.
Proficiency in using lab instruments and data acquisition tools.
Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or LTspice.
Experience with standards and compliance (UL, IEC, ISO) for power electronics systems.

Desired:
Hands-on experience with MV switchgear
Hands-on experience with UPS system
Understanding of EMI/EMC testing, thermal design, and environmental validation.
Working knowledge on functional safety
Familiarity with industry standards on power generation equipment
