The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JQL, Jira administration, and automation, and will collaborate closely with other team members. Experience with Jira on-premise to cloud migration is a strong plus. • Strong proficiency in JQL, with a minimum of five (5) years of expert-level experience building complex queries.
    • Hands-on experience with Jira administration and development, with a focus on Jira Cloud and ITSM configuration.
    • Preferred experience with Jira on-premise to cloud migration, including workflows and data.
    • Experience with Jira REST APIs and scripting languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript) for custom integrations and enhancements, with at least five (5) years of hands-on use.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, and Email.
    • Familiarity with Atlassian Access and a basic understanding of Active Directory and access controls.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (CEFR C2 or equivalent), with a focus on documentation and stakeholder engagement.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design, configure, and maintain Jira Software and Jira ITSM projects in the Atlassian Cloud environment.
    • Develop and optimize JQL queries, workflows, automations, and permissions to support business operations.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable Jira solutions.
    • Utilize Jira REST APIs and scripting (HTML, JavaScript) for customizations and integrations.
    • Work with key plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, Email This Issue, and Extension for Jira Service Desk.
    • Provide clear, well-structured documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
