Job Details
Seeking a Principal Cloud Architect to join the Cloud Platform Software team.
As part of this team, you will work on the Customers Analytics Platform, which is the next-gen data and analysis platform for our sequencing systems. Functions include data management and access, compute and workflow orchestration, automation and eventing, authentication and authorization, cloud infrastructure, and more!
In order for applications to be fully optimized, they need to be architected to take advantage of the global scale, elasticity, automation and high availability features of the AWS cloud. On the AWS platform, services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, Kinesis, AI and others provide opportunities to design and build cloud-ready applications.
AWS X-Ray enables AWS application to instrument their services and trace requests through their code as well as the underlying AWS services on which they may run. It generates a service graph of all contributing service elements, and within the easy to use console experience allows the diagnosis of high API latencies and/or errors by descending into the details of any individual request.
AWS X Ray Service enables cloud-based application to get distributed tracing data for their apps running on AWS cloud. X-Ray helps developers and DevOps engineers to analyze the behavior of distributed applications, determine the root cause of the performance bottlenecks or increase in error/fault/throttle rates and take corrective actions. It actively integrates with Open-Source technology not only to create an easy on-boarding experience but weave all telemetry types of data together, including trace, metrics and logs. It is at the heart of Application Performance Monitoring, enabling customer to gain insight in the micro-service architecture running on Lambda and Container and detecting anomaly via the machine learning technology.
