The Ask? Client is looking for a Solution Architect to lead the design and architecture of a next-generation E-Protocol platform for a global life sciences client. This initiative will transform traditional static Word/PDF-based study protocols into metadata-rich, structured digital records, enabling automation across study setup, quality control, and regulatory submission processes.
Responsibilities, Skills, and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in Enterprise & Solution Architecture within complex, regulated industries (life sciences preferred).
- Strong hands-on expertise with workflow orchestration/event-driven platforms (Camunda, Pega, Decisions, or similar) in a Microsoft-centric ecosystem.
- Proven experience with API design, canonical data models, and multi-system data orchestration
- Background in metadata-driven document/content management systems.
- Familiarity with rules engines, terminology services, and data validation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of compliance and data integrity in life sciences or healthcare.
- Must haves
- Prior experience in Clinical Development Systems or E-Protocol platforms.
- Exposure to regulatory submission systems (e.g., eCTD, IDMP, RIM).
- Knowledge of cloud-native services and microservices architectures in Azure or AWS.
- TOGAF, SAFe, or similar architecture/enterprise certifications
