Description
We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing and supporting technical applications essential to our operations. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and ensure seamless application functionality.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, configuration, and migration of engineering systems applications.
Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure compatibility and functionality after migration.
Provide technical support to business users during the application transition process.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and network connectivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain Cisco, Citrix, and cloud-based technologies.
Manage Active Directory configurations and ensure smooth integration with applications.
Implement and maintain robust backup and recovery systems to protect critical data.
Monitor firewall and security technologies to ensure compliance and protect sensitive information.
Maintain hardware and software configurations to optimize application performance.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing user concerns and providing timely solutions.
Requirements
Strong expertise in Cisco and Citrix technologies.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms and solutions.
Proficiency in Dell hardware and related technologies.
Knowledge of firewall systems and security protocols.
Familiarity with Active Directory and its integration with applications.
Experience with backup technologies and disaster recovery strategies.
Solid understanding of computer hardware and configuration management.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to customer service.
