About the Role
A federal consulting partner is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to support a large-scale government implementation of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions. This fully remote, contract-to-hire role focuses on translating complex business needs into functional Salesforce solutions within an Agile delivery framework. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance or Public Trust, and U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contracting guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from federal stakeholders
Develop user stories, workflows, and system requirements for low-code/no-code Salesforce solutions
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with development teams
Create supporting documentation including process flows, user guides, and training materials
Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams
Contribute to system security and compliance documentation for federal approval processes
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives
Ensure quality and completeness of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least one Salesforce project
Active Secret clearance or Public Trust
U.S. Citizenship and must have lived in the U.S. 3 of the past 5 years
3+ years working with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and Microsoft Office
1+ years of experience with user training or technical documentation
Familiarity with Salesforce functionality in a public sector environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on federal IT projects or in regulated environments
Understanding of federal security standards and ATO processes
Salesforce certifications (Business Analyst, Administrator) or relevant Trailhead badges
Experience with data migration and system integrations
Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a remote team environment
