Job Description:
  • The Cloud/DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • The role involves ensuring environment consistency, managing patching and certificates, embedding security and compliance into pipelines, and collaborating with L2/L3 support, development, and security teams to support secure, repeatable infrastructure deployments.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Design, maintain, and improve Terraform-based templates for consistent infrastructure deployments.
  • Implement version control best practices (Git branching strategies) and conduct code reviews to minimize environment drift.
  • Develop and maintain patch scripts and pipelines to automate OS or platform patching.
  • Coordinate patch rollouts with L2/L3 teams to minimize downtime.
  • Create, rotate, and securely store certificates, secrets, and SSH keys using Azure Key Vault or similar vault solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with encryption and key rotation policies.
  • Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for Azure resources, embedding security scanning, linting, and compliance checks.
  • Implement tooling to maintain consistent dev/test/prod environments and prevent configuration drift.
  • Work with L3 teams to enforce governance policies, including Azure Policy, RBAC, and tagging standards.
  • Integrate security scanning tools into pipelines for early detection of vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with security teams to meet compliance requirements such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or internal standards.
Experience:
  • Strong experience with Terraform, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipeline tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices such as GitOps and continuous testing.
  • Experience coordinating with development, L3, and security teams to implement infrastructure changes securely.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain automated infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
  • Develop patching and certificate management pipelines for secure, compliant operations.
  • Continuously enhance CI/CD pipelines to embed security, compliance, and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure environment consistency across dev, test, and production.
  • Implement governance policies and collaborate with teams to enforce compliance.
  • Integrate security tools into pipelines and address vulnerabilities proactively.
Skills:
  • Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise.
  • Version control and Git workflow best practices.
  • CI/CD pipeline tooling: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Automation scripting and pipeline development.
  • Environment governance and drift prevention.

Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices.
