Is this you
You keep mission-critical equipment alive. You will pull and terminate low-voltage controls, mount devices, read prints, and help commission integrated gate and barrier systems. You like being hands-on, working with a tight crew, and doing clean work that passes inspection.
What you will do
- Pull and terminate low-voltage control wiring between field devices and control panels.
- Mount readers, sensors, cabinets, and related equipment on concrete and steel.
- Read control prints, support I/O checkout, and assist with commissioning.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using multi-meter and precision instruments.
- Follow all safety procedures and documentation standards. Traveling up to 50 percent.
What you bring
- Experience with PLCs, reading electrical prints, and low-voltage termination and troubleshooting.
- Experience with VFDs and servo motors. Understand relays and how to install and troubleshoot them.
- Know how to use a multi-meter. Strong mechanical acumen.
- Background check and drug screen required. Able to lift 50 pounds. Report to the Trafford shop Monday through Friday.
Nice to have
- Certified Gate Automation Technician certification is welcomed but not required. The skill set above matters most.
