Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate long-term need for a Programmer Analyst. The particulars of the position are as follows.

Description:
The Business Programmer Analyst (BPA) must have knowledge and experience with programming, developing program specifications, and validation of program output. Experience with Natural, COBOL, JCL, and SQL is required. The BPA will be responsible to the APM and will be required to perform the following activities:
? Meet with the business community to understand programming business requirements
? Define program specifications for programming resources
? Review program code to ensure code meets business needs
? Perform assessment and validation of program output
? Develop data-driven reports and recommendations
? Assist in programming-related activities tied to interface development, data conversion, execution, and support.

Project Activities:
The BPA will collaborate with the APM, the COTS vendor, and the business community on:
? Definition of business and technical programming needs throughout the project lifecycle;
? Creation of programming practices to ensure system requirements are met;
? Testing and Validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency; and
? Ensuring clear documentation is maintained for audit purposes and reusability.
? Programming to support temporary interfaces related to the project development.
