Job Title: Deployment Technician
Job Type: Contract - Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Position Overview
TEKsystems is hiring on behalf of a client to support a large-scale hardware deployment project involving over 4,500 units. This initiative requires an onsite Deployment Technician for 40 hours per week over the next six months, with potential for extension. The technician will support the first wave of 2,926 device deployments at the Malta location, ensuring consistent execution of end-user requests and maintaining deployment timelines.
Key Responsibilities

• Execute desktop and laptop deployments in coordination with the project schedule
• Follow technical instructions for configuration and setup of Windows-based systems
• Assist with device imaging, installation, and testing
• Coordinate with onsite technical support teams and project managers
• Troubleshoot basic hardware issues during setup and verify proper functionality
• Maintain accurate records of deployed units and completed tasks
• Provide professional, customer-facing support during deployments
• Ensure deployment quality and precision with attention to detail

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Reliable transportation for punctual onsite attendance
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Previous experience with hardware deployment or technical support preferred

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 7 environments
• Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
• Experience with configuration, imaging, and deployment tools

Work Environment

• Onsite role with collaboration between internal project management and local technical support teams
• Fast-paced deployment schedule with minimal supervision

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
