Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Health Cloud Architect . This is a critical role where you will serve as the lead architect, driving the development and deployments of a Salesforce Health Cloud organization based on Customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead Salesforce Architect for the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce Health Cloud instance.
- Must have good experience in Gearset deployments to multiple Salesforce Health Cloud environments I.e. development, QA, UAT , Staging and Production.
- Must have worked on Production readiness and Production deployments.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, and other technical teams to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into robust, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions.
- Define the overall technical architecture for the Salesforce Health Cloud implementation, including data model, integration strategies, security, and governance.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, including its data model, care plans, provider management, patient management, and Care Management capabilities.
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
- Design, implement, maintain complex integration between Salesforce Health Cloud and various internal systems using appropriate integration patterns and tools (e.g. MuleSoft, API Gateway).
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, architectural standards, and industry compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
- Drive the adoption of new Salesforce features and functionalities, particularly within the Health Cloud ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and data models.
- Perform hands-on configuration, customization, and development within Salesforce, as needed, to validate architectural designs and support complex implementations.
- Conduct technical assessments, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, Health Cloud advancements, and healthcare industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in architecture, with a minimum of 5 years specifically as a Salesforce Architect.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, including its data model, care plans, provider management, patient management, and Care Management capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading the architecture and implementation of large-scale Salesforce projects, particularly in a healthcare .
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices (Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, OmniStudio, Flows, Flex Cards, Clerical Hub, Integrated Care Mgmt, Uitlization Mgmt).
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex integrations with various systems using different integration patterns (REST, SOAP, ETL tools).
- Strong knowledge of data migration strategies and large data volume considerations within Salesforce.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, taking ownership of problems and driving solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification.
- Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity) for Health.
- Experience with cloud platforms beyond Salesforce (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced growth environment.
