Description
We are looking for a diligent and customer-focused Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Livingston, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in providing first-level technical support, ensuring smooth IT operations, and delivering exceptional user experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the manufacturing industry and grow your expertise in IT support.
Responsibilities:
Respond to user inquiries regarding IT systems and provide clear, step-by-step solutions.
Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
Document all reported issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately within the ticketing system.
Manage and prioritize service desk tickets to meet service level agreements and deadlines.
Communicate effectively with users to understand their concerns and provide status updates.
Utilize tools such as Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10 to assist in user account and system management.
Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve support processes.
Ensure availability to work various shifts as required to meet operational needs.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent education level.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, particularly in technical environments.
Proficiency in using Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Capability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
