Job Details

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for quality, safety, and compliance? Join a dynamic and mission-driven company supporting high-impact defense programs as a Quality HSE Manager. In this critical role, you'll drive organizational excellence by overseeing all aspects of Quality Management Systems, Health, Safety & Environmental compliance, and Risk Management to ensure the company meets industry-specific regulations and certifications.



Pay Rate: $40 - $50/hr.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead implementation and recertification of ISO 9001, BA 9000, ISO 14001, and OHSA-compliant management systems

  • Conduct internal audits, facilitate external audits, and analyze performance metrics to improve systems and processes

  • Collaborate with teams across production, logistics, compliance, sales, and corporate to support strategic goals

  • Oversee safety initiatives, hazard audits, emergency drills, and business continuity plans

  • Support risk management efforts and coordinate monthly risk reviews

  • Lead and develop team members while fostering cross-department collaboration

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, while maintaining clear communication with Group HQ and internal stakeholders


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of quality/HSE experience within the body armor, defense, or related industry

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSA standards

  • Internal/Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) preferred

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint tools
