Key Responsibilities & Skills

Must-Have Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of investment banking, with a particular focus on capital allocation and capital turnover related to derivatives, especially Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS).
  • Solid understanding of key business drivers in the securitization space, including risk assessment, hedge positioning, and asset structuring.
  • Solid understanding of private credit domain, with the ability to navigate complex financial instruments and assess credit risk in non-traditional lending environments.

Mortgage & Real Estate Domain (Preferred)

  • Understanding of residential mortgage products, loan origination, and securitization.
  • Experience working with or analysing REITs, mortgage lenders, or specialty finance firms.
  • Strong grasp of corporate finance concepts including ROE, leverage, and cost of capital.
  • Knowledge of real estate finance, including MBS.
  • Familiarity with REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with capital markets, hedging strategies, allocation margins, and risk management.

You are Responsible for:
- Developing project plans and timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Communicating project status updates and risks to stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust.
- Implementing best practices for project management and facilitating agile methodologies.
To succeed in this role you should have the following:
- Strong background in program management, particularly in capital markets or financial services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and navigating regulatory environments related to capital market
