Role: PSA Network Engineer (EMS)
Location: (Remote)

Job description :
Key Responsibilities :
  • Design, develop, and implement network and transmission applications within the EMS platform environment.
  • Execute full lifecycle development, including feature enhancements, system integration, and maintenance of real-time control applications.
  • Perform rigorous testing activities such as Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), integration testing, and on-site commissioning.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system reliability and uptime.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (controls, networking, communications) for seamless system integration.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, configuration management, and testing protocols.
  • Provide direct technical support to customers, addressing issues, and delivering system improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and assess emerging technologies for EMS applications.
Required Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in EMS, SCADA, or real-time application development.
  • Hands-on experience with EMS platform systems (mandatory).
  • Strong proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
  • Programming expertise in C, C++, SQL, and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of real-time data acquisition, system integration, and communication protocols.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex environments.
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for site testing and commissioning.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., ClearCase, Git) and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with SCADA networking protocols (DNP3, ICCP, Modbus) and real-time databases.
  • Background in power grid operations, energy transmission, or utility systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a process-driven approach.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in collaborative teams.
