Role: Android Architect
Location: San Jose, CA/Austin, TX(Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities include:
- Defining and evolving Android architecture and tech stack
- Leading technical design and code review processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on security, performance, and integration
- Supporting mobile teams with clean architecture and modern Android practices
- Contributing to payment integrations (NFC, tokenization, AppSync, etc.)
Requirements:
- Expert in Kotlin, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Android architecture patterns
- Strong experience in Android security and compliance (PCI-DSS a plus)
- Hands-on experience with mobile payments, hardware integrations, or POS systems is desirable
- Strong communicator and technical leader
