Role: Governance, Policy & Documentation Analyst (Business Analyst Senior)
Location: Tallahassee, FL - 32399 (Onsite with Hybrid role)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 7 years in cybersecurity governance, policy writing, or IT documentation
- Experience writing SOPs, policies, and governance frameworks
- ITIL 4 Foundation preferred
- Prior experience with state government is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and update cybersecurity policies, standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and governance workflows in alignment with NIST CSF, Florida statutes, and DEP internal requirements.
- Document current-state and target-state processes, including system data flows and procedural diagrams.
- Support the creation and updating of Change Management, Access Control, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response procedures.
- Analyze policy gaps and recommend updates consistent with F.S. 282, F.S. 60GG-2, and statewide cybersecurity requirements.
- Ensure all governance documentation is clear, consistent, and auditable.
- Collaborate with technical SMEs to ensure policies accurately reflect system capabilities and operational processes.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Expertise in documenting process workflows, governance models, and control requirements
- Strong writing skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with statewide cybersecurity governance models
