Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build internal platforms that improve developer workflows, ensure data quality, and strengthen system reliability at scale. This role sits at the intersection of developer experience, data reliability, and telemetry - with opportunities to work across both server-side systems and client devices. You'll work on tools and frameworks that give engineers better visibility into system health and data quality, while also driving improvements in CI/CD processes and automation. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building platforms that empower other engineers and who thrives in fast-moving environments.

Description In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering tools and frameworks that improve how engineering teams build, test, and release software. You will focus on areas such as CI/CD automation, data validation, and system observability, with an emphasis on creating scalable solutions that raise engineering productivity. You'll also contribute to telemetry and instrumentation across services and devices, ensuring that systems provide reliable, actionable insights into performance, usage, and quality. This requires close collaboration with engineers across disciplines to understand their workflows and deliver solutions that improve reliability and transparency.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript (we value strong fundamentals over specific languages).
  • Proven experience building and maintaining internal tools or developer productivity platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and developer experience tooling.
  • Experience with telemetry, instrumentation, or observability frameworks (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Familiarity with data quality practices, validation, and monitoring in large-scale systems.
  • Experience with iOS development (Swift, Xcode, UIKit/SwiftUI) is a plus, particularly for device-side telemetry or instrumentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for reliability and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex systems into clear explanations.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience writing and maintaining high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Prior experience in developer experience engineering, platform engineering, or CI/CD environments is highly desirable.
